Chak Chak exploration region is located in 22 Km Northwest of Faryab city, with about 2.8 km2 area. Structurally, this deposit is placed in the Esfandagheh–Faryab chromite ophiolitic belt.

  • 1- Data gathering which are obtained by library studies, preparation geology and topography maps and other reports.
    2- Processing satellite imagery to detect minerals, rocks, alterations and structure.
    3- Field studies and sampling.
    4- Creating geology maps in 1:10000 scale
    5- Microscopic studies of 21 thin sections by Olympus polarizing microscope in the APEX lab.
    6- Preparation and analysis of 14 samples by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) in the APEX lab.
    7- Preparation and analysis of 5 samples by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD).
